What is Third Academy?

Answer

Third Academy is a Web3 educational platform and career launchpad designed to onboard professionals in free, cohort-based learning available to everyone, regardless of location, gender, or background.

What courses are available and when will new courses open up?

We're currently running a Metaverse Foundations cohort. We don't have dates for our next courses, as we're revamping the Web3 Marketing 101 course to keep up with the development of this space, but will release more information soon!

Do I have to apply?

Answer

Yes. Because we rely on peer-to-peer learning and teaching, we do have applications to make sure that everyone enters with a similar base-line of knowledge and create a productive learning environment.

Question 4

How much do courses cost?

Answer

We price each course individually, based on the content and the level of interactivity and engagement. Because we regularly update our curriculums (at the speed of crypto) and are constantly working on making our courses more engaging, there might even be price changes between different cohorts of the same course...because the course content and activity will have been updated.
You can find the price of each course on the course page when applications open for that cohort. We also reserve a certain number of scholarships for each cohort,

Question 5

How can I receive a scholarship?

Answer

Scholarships can be applied for when you apply for the course. However, please note that our scholarships are need based. Therefore, in order to be eligible, you must not be able to pay the course cost.
Additionally, as paying for a course generally gives students a deeper sense of commitment, all of our scholarships come with a minimum attendance policy.

What are the course days and times?

Answer

These are set at the beginning of every course based on the availability of the Instructor. We'll let you know when you're enrolled.

Question 7

Will Third Academy help me get a job?

Answer

We won't help you get internships or job interviews. But, if you take a course with us, we do set guided course work that is designed to give you a Web3-native portfolio to help you apply to jobs that are related to that course, or even launch you own project.
Do these portfolios work? Yes! Some of our alumni have been hired based on the projects they created during Third Academy courses.
You can also find regularly shared open Web3 roles in our Discord and reach out there to see if anyone from the community has further tips or insights into getting hired in this sector!
